Name: Loki
What world they came from: Norse Mythology
Birthday (if known): He's more than a thousand years old, exactly how old depends on his mood
Species: Norse god or giant, depending on how you interpret the legends, which makes him very long-lived bit not exactly immortal.
Occupation: Shopkeeper of the realm
Appearance: As Loki is a shapeshifter his appearance may change. Sometimes he is a salmon, other times a mare or a woman, or something completely different. Most of the time he goes around as man of average built, though at the moment he has a thing for bright green hair. His garderobe goes with the times, so there is nothing strange to see him wearing jeans and t-shirts, business suits or Victorian dresses.
Personality: He can be described with one word: excentric. His moods change as fast as his form, but once you have got his attention it will be very difficult to lose it. Loki is also a sore loser.
Special abilities/talents: Loki is a shapeshifter, i. e. he was more than once seen using the form of a salmon, a mare or a woman to get what he wants, what not means that he won't use any other forms. When it comes to pure physical power he is not the strongest of the Aesir. One could even call him weak, which lead to him learning to use his intellect and wit. He is a full believer of the art of the insult.
Weaknesses: Because of him being the only survivor or Ragnarök he does not like being alone. This slight fear only established itself after he had already lived amond humans for centuries.
Quirks: For someone who grew up using magic, he can be somewhat obsessed with technology. So much even, that for centuries he hasn't used any magic but his natural shape-shifting to live his life. One could say he is a gadget collector.
Sexual orientation: Loki is pretty much open to everything; after all he once mated with a stallion and gave birth to Odin's eight-legged horse Sleipnir.
Reputation: Most people believe Loki is a habitual lier, a deceiver that cannot be trusted and holds grudges for near to eternity. They may be right to some degree, but others are proud knowing him because of his intelligence and cunning
Background Information: Loki was the adopted son of Odin and brother to Thor. He was also prophesized to lead the enemies into Asgard, which obviously became the beginning of Ragnarök. This he did, but when the prophesy also said he would die in a fight with Heimdallr his life decided to not follow as it was foretold.

Instead of dying he survived Ragnarök, which is a fact he can be very vocal about not liking even one tiny bit. But, as he was never the type for self-flagellation he did what came natural and lived the next millenia or nine in the only world that was left after Ragnarök destroyed his home: Midgard, the world of mortal humans.

Living among mortals made him quite sentimental for a time, and so he was responsible for the humans even knowing about the Norse gods. All stories humanity has ever known about Odin, Thor, the Aesir, giants and everything else that once was quite 'normal' before Ragnarök.

That later in the twentieth century there were even comic books written about his family didn't sit right with him, though. But who was he to sue Marvel Comics for making him, Loki, the bad guy to Thor's patented 'hero act', so he had a good laugh about it and became a member of a Star Trek fanclub. He also bought every video or dvd of Doctor Who that was ever made.

A long while after that Loki, the last living god of his planet, was one of the first passengers travelling beyond the Terran sun system to build new colonies for the human species. On these colonies he worked as a teacher for a time as the kids absolutely loved hearing his stories.

How he found the realm of Chaos Unraveled and how exactly he came to decide working in a virtual war zone would be amusing, he cannot say. But one thing he can definitely tell, and that is how funny he finds it to watch such... twisted versions of the Asgard and Niflheim he once knew trying to knock each other out.
